General Ledger
Key Responsibilities:

• Performs the activities of the General Ledger (G/L) section, which includes among others financial reporting, tax and local statutory compliance functions of the Accounting Department.
• Utilizes accounting methods and practices that are in strict compliance with company accounting policies and generally-accepted accounting standards and practices.
• Conducts all its functions and activities in a complete, accurate and timely basis; prepares required reports that are also accurate and reflect the true financial position of the company.
• Participates and cooperates with the external auditor in the annual external audit of the General Ledger and financial reporting activities.
• Participates and cooperates in internal audits conducted on Accounting operations.
• Any other tasks duly assigned by the immediate supervisor or Accounting Manager.

Inventory/Cost
Key Responsibilities:

• Performs the daily operations of the inventory and cost accounting functions of the Accounting Department.
• Utilizes accounting methods and practices that are in strict compliance with company accounting policies and generally accepted accounting standards and practices.
• Conducts all inventory and cost accounting activities in a complete, accurate and timely basis; prepares required reports that are also accurate and reflect the true financial position of the company.
• Participates and cooperates with the external auditor in the annual external audit of inventory.
• Investigates and reconciles all inventory transaction discrepancies (e.g. skipped series, unposted transactions, encoding errors, no transmittal or late transmittal of documents, etc.).
• Any other tasks duly assigned by the immediate supervisor or Accounting Manager.

Accounts Payable
Key Responsibilities:

• Performs the daily operations of the account payables (A/P) function of the Accounting Department.
• Utilizes accounting methods and practices that are in strict compliance with company accounting policies and generally accepted accounting standards and practices.
• Conducts all A/P transactions on a complete, accurate and timely basis; *Prepares A/P reports that are also accurate and reflect the true financial position of the company.
• Participates and cooperates with the external auditor in the annual external audit of accounts payable.
• Any other tasks duly assigned by the immediate supervisor or Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:

• College graduate from a reputable university in an Accountancy or an Accounting-related discipline
• Preferably a licensed CPA holder
• Prior relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good, in-depth working knowledge of ERP systems; knowledge and familiarity with SAP will be a distinct advantage
• Must have good working knowledge of Philippines financial accounting standards, national and local tax rulings and corporate governance rules and standards, and must be updated in current trends with regard to all of the above standards and rulings
• Willing to report on-site daily
